Internet Marketing

I like to deal with what is real when it comes to trying to make money online. Sitting in front of a computer and doing Internet marketing to make money is harder than you are being led to believe. Every day I get numerous emails that basically asked me what is the easiest way to make money online. Another email may go something like I need to make money right away, how do I do that? My answer is pretty much the same. I reply back asking them what are Internet marketing skills to you have? Think about it this way. If you are going to apply for a job you would have the list what you are qualified to do on your application. Just because you want to make money online does not qualify you to do so. Certainly desire is a big part of being successful at anything in life, but that by itself is not going to put money in your bank account. Another reality is that a blueprint for doing Internet marketing is only a step by step list of things you can do. You still have to do the work. If I tell you to set up a blog and get traffic to it, you will not have any idea what to do. If I give you a step-by-step guide on how to set your blog up and start getting traffic, you at least have a starting point. However, I have seen plenty of these over the years and none of them actually do the work for you! You have to work hard at learning how to do Internet marketing, and then implement what you learn. The good news is we are not talking about rocket science here. I used to live next door to a real rocket scientist who worked for Lockheed Martin. He could not teach me how to build rockets, but I could teach him how to do Internet marketing. If you have average intelligience you can learn everything you need to make money on the Internet. So why do many people still fail? 1. It takes time to learn. 2. It takes time to see results. This is especially true if you currently work a full time job. Throw in family obligations and you have very little time every week to devote to learning and implementing Internet marketing strategies. Comprehension can be a problem when you constantly are sidetracked with your job and day to day family activities. It’s not that this stuff is really hard to do. It will take some time for all of it to click in your mind. The reality is you need to be patient and set small goals. If you are accomplishing a little bit of something every day you will be moving your Internet business forward. It’s amazing how much you will accomplish a year from now if you approach it this way.
